📋 Description

  • As a Professional (Senior) Sales Representative in Diversified Therapeutics at Viatris Inc., you will play a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life by driving sales of high-quality pharmaceutical products across the Jersey City, NJ territory, which includes Staten Island, NY; Edison, Union, and Wayne, NJ. Your work directly contributes to improving patient outcomes by ensuring healthcare providers are informed about Viatris’ therapeutic offerings in women’s health and related specialties.
  • You will be responsible for promoting Viatris products to OBGYNs, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Pharmacists through scientifically grounded, ethical, and compliant sales interactions. This includes developing and executing a dynamic territory management plan informed by real-world field experience, conducting pre- and post-call planning for key accounts, and leveraging approved promotional assets such as Lunch and Learns, displays, and educational resources to increase HCP awareness and product utilization.
  • Your day-to-day activities will involve setting clear call objectives based on customer profiles, actively listening to and observing healthcare professionals to understand their needs, and engaging in persuasive, balanced dialogue that addresses clinical concerns and supports appropriate prescribing behaviors. You will gather and synthesize feedback from offices, pharmacists, and other stakeholders to refine territory-specific strategies and maintain ongoing relevance in a competitive healthcare landscape.
  • You will ensure high levels of call and field productivity by managing your schedule efficiently, responding promptly and reliably to customer requests with accurate information, and consistently adhering to all ethical sales practices, regulatory requirements, and company compliance standards while striving to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • You will operate with a business owner mindset, demonstrating initiative, self-direction, and accountability as both an independent contributor and a collaborative team member. Your ability to learn, apply, and communicate complex product information and disease state knowledge over time will be essential to building credibility and trust with healthcare providers.

  • In this role, you will develop advanced skills in pharmaceutical sales, territory management, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance. 🎯 Requirements

  • BS or BA degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical sales; relevant sales experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, account management skills, and ability to engage in meaningful, persuasive two-way dialogues with healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong verbal and interpersonal abilities, and active listening proficiency.
  • Ability to learn, apply, and communicate product and disease state knowledge effectively over time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; must reside within the geography of responsibility or reasonable driving distance (no relocation offered).
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
