- • Design, build, and scale a national Associate of Science in Healthcare Administration program from inception, with no maintenance responsibilities.
- • Define and own the academic vision for the program, ensuring it prepares students for entry-level roles, career mobility, and transfer pathways in healthcare administration.
- • Lead curriculum design in partnership with Campus’s curriculum and academic operations teams, translating healthcare administration competencies into high-quality online coursework.
- • Ensure curriculum is workforce-aligned, accredited (ACCJC, BPPE, Department of Education), regulatory-compliant, scalable, and integrated with healthcare technology, data, and AI-enabled workflows.
- • Implement curriculum effectively within the Campuswire platform and maintain rigorous academic standards for course sequencing, assessments, and continuous improvement.
- • Teach courses within the Healthcare Administration program on a regular basis to remain directly engaged with student learning challenges and instructional realities.
- • Recruit, onboard, and support qualified healthcare administration faculty, setting expectations for instructional quality, consistency, and student experience.
- • Provide ongoing academic leadership, feedback, and guidance to faculty to ensure alignment with program goals and pedagogical best practices for online and synchronous learning.
- • Collaborate with Campus’s Business Development team to establish and maintain partnerships with healthcare employers for advisory groups, applied projects, capstones, and simulated or internship-style experiences.
- • Ensure curriculum reflects real-world healthcare administrative workflows and current employer needs through direct industry engagement.
- • Partner with internal teams on career readiness, employer alignment, and transfer pathways to drive student job placement and upward mobility.
- • Use student outcome data to inform continuous program improvement and demonstrate program impact beyond enrollment metrics.
- • Lead accreditation and compliance efforts, including documentation, review cycles, and ensuring faculty qualifications and instructional practices meet regulatory requirements.
- • Collaborate with Marketing, Admissions, Student Success, and Career Services teams to create academic materials, support go-to-market efforts, and ensure a clean national launch.
- • Maintain direct involvement in both strategic leadership and day-to-day instructional delivery to stay grounded in student and faculty experiences.
- • Drive program credibility through measurable outcomes including student readiness, job placement rates, and employer satisfaction.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated experience designing and leading an academic program in Healthcare Administration or a closely related healthcare field
- • Experience teaching in higher education, with comfort instructing courses directly
- • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, administrative workflows, and regulatory requirements
- • Prior responsibility for curriculum design, faculty leadership, and academic quality
- • Experience translating workforce and employer needs into academic programs
- • Ability to lead cross-functional work across academic, operational, and growth teams
