- • The Program Faculty, Biomedical Sciences role is a fully online teaching position within The Chicago School’s Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) program, designed to prepare students for careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and allied health fields. This role is critical to advancing the institution’s mission of creating a diverse pipeline of future healthcare professionals who will improve health outcomes in underserved communities.
- • Day to day, the faculty member will teach asynchronous online courses, hold virtual office hours, provide timely feedback, monitor student progress, and deliver pre-developed curriculum aligned with program learning outcomes. They will also advise pre-health students on academic performance, career planning, and professional school applications, including personal statements and letters of recommendation, while supporting students’ understanding of health profession pathways and prerequisites.
- • The Chicago School is a nonprofit, minority-majority university with over 6,000 students across 35+ degree programs in psychology, behavioral health, and health sciences. As part of the TCS Education System, it operates seven in-person locations, a growing online campus, and global education partnerships, with an annual budget of nearly $150M and a commitment to student success, innovation, and community impact through over 1.2 million annual service hours.
- • In this role, the faculty member will deepen expertise in online and asynchronous instruction, interprofessional education (IPE), and pre-health advising. They will contribute to curriculum development, program evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives, while fostering an inclusive, collaborative learning environment that supports diverse learners and prepares students for team-based healthcare practice.
