- • Responsible for all program-level financial analysis and reporting, including cost control, revenue and profit recognition, and forecasting.
- • Serve as the single point of contact for the Program Manager on all finance and accounting matters.
- • Support the development, monitoring, and updating of annual plans, monthly forecasts, and quarterly and annual financial updates.
- • Monitor program cost performance against established baselines to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- • Identify, quantify, and communicate potential financial risks and opportunities impacting program forecasts.
- • Maintain and validate contract budgets and ensure accurate contract billing practices.
- • Validate and process subcontractor invoices, Other Direct Costs (ODC), and travel expenses.
- • Support monthly business rhythms across program and finance teams through timely reporting and analysis.
- • Perform financial analysis to support ongoing program management decisions and operational needs.
- • Develop accurate and timely monthly performance reports for programs and projects.
- • Collaborate with contracts, subcontracts, HR, and other functional teams to support program and business-related tasks.
- • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for all financial activities.
- • Set up program financial infrastructure including project codes, work breakdown structures, and billing configurations.
- • Apply accounting principles including cost collection, revenue recognition, Estimate at Complete (EAC) lifecycle, invoicing, and unbilled reconciliation.
- • Utilize intermediate MS Excel skills—pivot tables, filters, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS—to analyze large datasets and generate financial insights.
- • Adhere to internal financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting methodologies to maintain compliance with government and customer standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, including at least 2 years in program control or financial management
- • Intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables, filters, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS)
- • Secret security clearance
- • Strong foundation in accounting principles (cost collection, revenue recognition, EAC lifecycle, invoicing, unbilled reconciliation)
- • Ability to work collaboratively with contracts, procurement, and accounting teams
- • Strong organizational skills
