  • • As a Program Manager for M&A Integration at Sand Cherry Associates, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful integration of enterprise technology organizations following mergers and acquisitions, ensuring strategic alignment, operational continuity, and value realization across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • • You will lead end-to-end program management within an Integration Management Office (IMO), overseeing multiple workstreams to deliver seamless transitions that support business goals, mitigate risk, and uphold governance standards throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing program structures and detailed project plans for each functional workstream, establishing timelines, milestones, and deliverables aligned with PMI/PMP methodologies.
  • • You will conduct daily hands-on program management, monitoring progress, identifying risks, implementing escalation paths, and taking corrective actions to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
  • • You will facilitate and lead regular program and project meetings, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and alignment among cross-functional teams spanning IT, product, engineering, operations, finance, and human resources.
  • • You will build and manage program budgets, track actuals versus forecasts, and optimize resource allocation to support efficient execution and financial accountability.
  • • You will create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all project artifacts, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure deliverables are tied to measurable outcomes and strategic objectives.
  • • You will design and implement stakeholder communication plans at all organizational levels, providing executive-level reporting on KPIs, status, risks, and program impact to inform decision-making.
  • • You will coordinate workflows across departments, integrate business policies and governance into planning, and ensure that integration activities adhere to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • • You will own the integrated master project plan, synchronize dependencies across workstreams, and drive on-time delivery while balancing scope, cost, quality, and business value.
  • • You will exercise informed judgment and discretion in high-stakes situations, leveraging your analytical and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and influence stakeholders effectively.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 7-10 years of proven program management experience managing multiple, complex workstreams in large-scale initiatives.
  • • Demonstrated consulting experience in M&A integration activities across at least three of the following functional areas: IT, product, engineering, operations, finance/accounting, or human resources.
  • • Hands-on proficiency with Advanced Excel, SmartSheet, and PowerPoint for planning, tracking, reporting, and presenting program data to executives.
  • • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies (PMI, PMP, Agile, or Scrum), with PMP certification desired.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and convey complex information clearly to executive stakeholders.
