- • The Program Manager at Optiv Security Inc. manages engagements from inception to completion, ensuring program health across the full lifecycle including onboarding, service activation, continuation, renewal, and decommission, while driving successful client outcomes aligned with Optiv’s commercial commitments and building trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing strategic program delivery plans, managing schedules and resource allocation, monitoring budgets and margins, identifying and resolving risks and issues, leading program meetings, assigning tasks to team members, and serving as the single point of contact for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- • The role operates within Optiv’s Advanced Fusion Center (AFC), collaborating with Client Engagement Specialists, Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Operations, sales, account, demand, and solution teams to support complex information security initiatives and business growth.
- • The Program Manager will develop expertise in managing multi-year, multi-capability security engagements, refine leadership and stakeholder communication skills, contribute to business development and internal process improvement efforts, and gain deep exposure to enterprise-scale information security program management in a professional services environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA or BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- • 4+ years of experience in a client-facing Program, Project, or PMO role within a professional services organization, with emphasis on information security projects and programs.
- • Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-capability engagements across multiple clients using program management methodologies, best practices, and tools.
- • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, strong influential abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- • Experience interfacing with both clients and internal business partners, ability to work independently with limited supervision, and current knowledge of security threats, solutions, tools, and network technologies strongly desired.
