- • Own the strategic direction and day-to-day success of a portfolio of high-value programmatic advertising accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to senior marketers and media directors at Fortune 1000 brands and leading agencies.
- • Architect full-funnel media strategies that blend first-party data, premium inventory, and Viant’s AI-powered DSP to hit aggressive KPIs across CTV, display, video, audio, DOOH, and emerging channels—translating complex business goals into clear, measurable campaign blueprints.
- • Lead quarterly business reviews and ongoing optimization sprints, using real-time dashboards and deep-dive analytics to surface actionable insights on reach, frequency, viewability, attention, and incrementality; present findings to C-suite stakeholders and secure renewals and upsells worth seven-figure annual commitments.
- • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to beta-test new platform features—such as cookieless identity solutions, supply-path optimization, and predictive bidding algorithms—then translate technical roadmaps into client-ready narratives that accelerate adoption and revenue.
- • Mentor junior strategists and campaign managers, building a culture of experimentation and continuous learning; develop internal playbooks, run weekly training sessions, and champion best-practice sharing across the global Customer Success organization.
- • Monitor industry trends (e.g., privacy legislation, retail-media networks, shoppable CTV) and translate them into proactive recommendations that keep clients ahead of the curve; publish thought-leadership pieces and speak at key industry events to elevate Viant’s brand.
- • Collaborate with Sales during pre-sale discovery to scope custom solutions, craft compelling proposals, and model ROI scenarios that shorten deal cycles and increase win rates.
- • Ensure flawless campaign execution by coordinating trafficking, QA, pacing, and billing across internal Ops teams and external partners; resolve issues with speed and diplomacy to protect client trust and revenue.
- • Drive incremental revenue growth by identifying whitespace in existing accounts—new geos, verticals, or product lines—and designing pilot programs that prove value before scaling.
- • Champion a client-obsessed culture: solicit feedback via NPS surveys, close-the-loop action plans, and executive escalations to turn detractors into promoters and secure long-term partnerships.
- • Leverage advanced SQL, Python, or R to mine Viant’s petabyte-scale data lake for custom attribution models, lifetime-value analyses, and media-mix insights that differentiate our offering in a crowded market.
- • Maintain meticulous documentation in Salesforce and Jira, ensuring every strategic decision, test result, and renewal milestone is visible to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
- • Balance multiple high-stakes priorities in a fast-moving, remote-first environment while modeling Viant’s core values of transparency, accountability, and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale programmatic campaigns within a DSP (Viant, DV360, TTD, or equivalent) with a proven record of exceeding revenue and performance targets.
- • Deep expertise in omnichannel media planning, audience segmentation, attribution, and optimization across CTV, display, video, audio, and DOOH.
- • Advanced data fluency: comfortable writing SQL queries, manipulating large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets, and visualizing insights in Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- • Exceptional client-facing communication skills—ability to translate technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives for both marketing practitioners and executive sponsors.
- • Nice-to-have: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field; certifications in Google Marketing Platform, Amazon DSP, or IAB Digital Media Buying; experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
