- • The Programmatic Strategic Lead (Remote US) is a pivotal client-facing role at Directive Consulting, responsible for driving measurable revenue growth through expert management of programmatic advertising campaigns across Display, Native, Video, Audio, and other channels. This position directly impacts client success by translating strategic vision into executable media plans that generate pipeline, fuel SQLs, and scale B2B and SaaS brands using Directive’s proprietary Customer Generation methodology.
- • What the person will do day to day:
- • Develop comprehensive media strategies in collaboration with internal teams, aligning programmatic campaign objectives with client KPIs and broader marketing goals.
- • Integrate first-party and third-party data sources to build precise audience segments and enable hyper-targeted campaign execution across DSPs.
- • Plan, set up, and launch programmatic campaigns on platforms including DV360, The Trade Desk, and other Demand-Side Platforms, ensuring proper tracking, tagging, and budget allocation.
- • Continuously monitor campaign performance, applying data-driven optimizations to improve pacing, efficiency, and ROI while meeting NSM attainment and CSAT targets.
- • Generate, analyze, and present detailed performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- • Troubleshoot delivery and performance issues in real time, coordinating with analytics and ad ops teams to resolve discrepancies, pacing problems, or creative faults swiftly.
- • Partner with creative, analytics, and account teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution, aligning messaging, landing pages, and conversion funnels with media strategy.
- • Serve as the primary client contact, delivering regular updates, leading strategy calls, and presenting campaign plans and results with clarity and confidence.
- • Educate clients on how programmatic channels integrate with paid search, SEO, content, and RevOps to create a holistic, full-funnel marketing engine.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of proven experience in programmatic roles at publishers, advertising agencies, or ad tech companies, with bonus consideration for B2B or SaaS industry exposure.
- • Hands-on expertise in media buying, including building and optimizing campaigns in Demand-Side Platforms such as The Trade Desk (TTD) and DV360, with strong familiarity with DSP workflows, pixel implementation, and audience targeting.
- • Proven track record in programmatic media planning, buying, and developing measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign success, including experience driving growth for clients with monthly budgets exceeding $50k.
- • Strong analytical ability, exceptional attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple complex campaigns while maintaining pacing, accuracy, and performance goals.
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success in client-facing roles, including presenting strategy, performance reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
