- • The Project Coordinator for the Imani Breakthrough Project in Psychiatry Research plays a vital role in organizing and managing all phases of a major research initiative, from initiation to close-out, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, tracking progress against deliverables, preparing reports and documentation, managing vendor contracts and expenses, and serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and external consultants.
- • The role is based within Boston Medical Center, the primary teaching hospital for Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where research is driven by a commitment to health equity regardless of race, geography, or socioeconomic status.
- • In this role, the individual will develop advanced project management and data analysis skills, gain experience in healthcare research operations, and contribute to meaningful projects that aim to improve mental health outcomes in underserved communities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • 3-5 years of relevant post-collegiate professional experience, with project coordination preferred
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and web-based applications, including ability to generate complex reports using Excel functions like pivot tables and VLookup
