  • • The Project Manager at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. plays a critical role in driving the successful delivery of Account Management projects that directly impact healthcare value by ensuring pharmaceutical and technology solutions are implemented on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to MedImpact’s mission of optimizing satisfaction, service, cost, and quality in the healthcare industry through innovative pharmacy benefits management solutions.
  • • Day to day, the Project Manager will define project objectives and scope, develop detailed project plans with deliverables and milestones, coordinate with stakeholders and resource managers to determine staffing needs, gather and document requirements from clients and internal teams, facilitate regular status meetings to track progress and mitigate risks, manage client expectations through proactive communication, ensure all project documentation is complete and approved at each lifecycle phase, oversee execution and monitoring of project activities, manage post-go-live issues and deployment planning, identify training needs for clients and operations personnel, and build and maintain strong working relationships across departments while mentoring Account Managers in project management best practices.

  • • In this role, the Project Manager will develop deep expertise in healthcare technology project lifecycles, strengthen leadership and stakeholder management skills, gain exposure to complex pharmaceutical benefits systems, and have the opportunity to influence process improvements that enhance project delivery efficiency and client satisfaction across MedImpact’s Account Management function.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BS/BA degree and 5+ years of relevant project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • • Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 2 years in respective project areas
  • • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, and MS Project, plus familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Smartsheets
  • • Strong negotiation, facilitation, and collaboration skills; proven ability to lead and work effectively in team environments
  • • Demonstrated client management skills, ability to work in a matrix organization, and commitment to overcoming obstacles to deliver projects on time
  • • PMP certification is highly desired
