- • Are you a proactive and customer-focused Project Manager with a passion for driving software development projects to success? Learning Technologies Group plc, a global leader in creating work cultures people love, is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic Research and Development (R&D) department as a Customer-Facing Technical Project Manager for our GetBridge product.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in applying your expertise in communication, scheduling, and risk management to a variety of R&D initiatives. These projects will encompass critical areas such as customer migrations, the successful delivery of large feature releases, and the execution of customer-specific development projects, all aligned with the strategic priorities set by R&D management.
- • You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams and leveraging your experience with agile development methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Your ability to advise engineers without formal authority, coupled with your skill in communicating complex information to multiple levels of management, will be key to your success.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves direct customer interaction. You will be responsible for providing clear, concise, and timely customer-facing communications, both live and in writing, during the customer's business hours, which include 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM ET. This requires a professional and adaptable communication style.
- • You will play a crucial role in managing the change process, meticulously controlling the scope of deliverables to ensure projects remain on track and within defined parameters. This involves working collaboratively with Program Management and Legal teams to navigate and implement changes effectively.
- • Your project management responsibilities will be broad, covering R&D large feature development, customer migrations, and other ad-hoc projects. This includes comprehensive management of Change Management, Time Management, Communications Management, and Risk Management, ensuring all facets of the project lifecycle are addressed.
- • We are looking for individuals who embody a 'Challenge Accepted' attitude, demonstrating a bias toward simplicity in their approach and possessing the ability and eagerness to take initiative and lead through ambiguity. Your confidence in developing collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leadership and external clients, will be highly valued.

- • Your day-to-day will involve detailed project planning, resource allocation, stakeholder management, progress tracking, and proactive issue resolution. You will be the central point of contact for your assigned projects, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
- • You will facilitate project meetings, including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring clear action items and follow-through. Your ability to translate technical complexities into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders will be essential.
- • Risk identification and mitigation will be a core function, requiring you to anticipate potential roadblocks and develop contingency plans to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- • You will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and change logs, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant parties.
- • Collaboration with product management will be key to understanding feature requirements and ensuring they are translated into actionable development tasks.
- • You will also work closely with QA and testing teams to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered software.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years of Program Management, Project Management, or similar experience in the software industry.
- • Demonstrated understanding of the difference between Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
- • Experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- • Experience creating Gantt Charts and Project Status Reports.
- • Professional conversational English demonstrated in verbal and written form.
