- • As a Project Manager III on the Operations & Transformation team at Motive, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects that directly support the Customer Support organization, turning strategy into execution across process, policy, data, and technology initiatives that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- • You will own and lead a portfolio of mid- to large-scale projects supporting Tier 1 and Tech Support, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks while ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
- • The Operations & Transformation team partners with senior leaders across Product, Sales, IT, Finance, and Services to drive scalable, high-quality support operations that empower Motive’s nearly 100,000 customers across industries like transportation, logistics, construction, and energy.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in enterprise-scale project governance, data-driven decision making using Salesforce and Tableau, and change management for support initiatives, positioning you as a leader in operational transformation within a fast-growing, mission-driven technology company.
- • You will mentor other project managers, refine project management frameworks and templates, and contribute to the evolution of standardized practices that raise delivery quality and consistency across the Services organization.
- • Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction (CSAT), resolution rates, and support team productivity by enabling data-backed improvements to workflows, tools, and processes that reduce manual effort and increase scalability.
- • You will facilitate executive-ready reporting and decision-making through structured governance, clear risk mitigation planning, and concise updates that keep stakeholders informed and accountable.
- • By leading change management efforts—including impact assessments, ROI analysis, communications, training, and adoption tracking—you will ensure that new support initiatives are not only implemented but successfully embraced by operational teams.
- • You will conduct project retrospectives to continuously improve intake, prioritization, planning, and execution standards, fostering a culture of learning and operational excellence within the Services organization.
- • Your leadership will help Motive maintain its mission of making physical operations safer, more productive, and more profitable through technology that unifies safety, operations, and finance teams in a single platform powered by industry-leading AI.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional experience in project management with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and portfolios, balancing scope, schedule, resources, and quality while delivering against defined success metrics.
- • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- • Deep familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project) and comfort establishing governance, cadences, and working agreements.
- • Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience using Salesforce, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), and spreadsheets to analyze trends, build dashboards, and support decision-making.
- • Proven experience in risk management and mitigation planning, including dependency mapping and contingency planning for multi-team initiatives.
- • High degree of ownership, accountability, and follow-through, with the ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments and keep projects moving forward.
- • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent required, or a strong commitment to obtain it within a defined timeframe after joining.
