- • As a Project Manager, Permitting at Pulley Inc., you will serve as the critical bridge between clients and the complex permitting landscape, ensuring projects progress smoothly by overcoming regulatory hurdles and accelerating approvals through expert guidance and proactive problem-solving—directly impacting timelines and enabling faster project delivery for top architects, builders, and retailers.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing deep expertise in local permitting rules across Texas markets, advising clients through intricate approval processes, building and maintaining strong relationships with municipal officials to expedite timelines, managing multiple permitting projects simultaneously while anticipating and resolving roadblocks, and collaborating with product, engineering, and leadership teams to refine workflows and enhance the platform’s effectiveness.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at Pulley, a fast-growing startup founded in 2021 that combines deep permitting expertise with AI-powered intelligence to transform how commercial projects navigate the fragmented U.S. permitting system—supporting rollout programs for national brands and major infrastructure projects like data centers and EV charging networks.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in jurisdictional permitting nuances, sharpen your stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, contribute to product innovation by feeding real-world insights into engineering and product teams, and grow into a leadership position shaping Pulley’s permitting operations and best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of professional experience in architecture, construction, or permitting, with demonstrated involvement in various permitting processes
- • Strong familiarity with local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes, specifically in the San Antonio, TX area
- • Excellent communication abilities and proven talent for building strong relationships with clients and municipal officials
- • Technical proficiency in using relevant software tools and adaptability in learning new systems that enhance operational efficiency
