📋 Description
- • The Project Manager (PM2) role is a full-time, permanent position within the Public Employees Retirement System’s Modernization Division, Enterprise Portfolio, Innovation and Change (EPIC) section, responsible for leading medium-to-large agency-wide enterprise projects, including IT initiatives, using PMBOK-based methodologies to ensure timely, scoped, and budget-aligned delivery.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include directing, coordinating, and controlling project activities for technical and end-user staff; developing detailed project plans and effort-based schedules; managing execution of work plans; controlling scope, cost, and delivery schedules; and supporting Senior Technical Project Managers on project teams as needed.
- • The EPIC section focuses on business process management, data-driven decisions, project and portfolio management to advance the agency’s strategic plan, operating as a center of excellence for implementing critical agency decisions across all departments.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise project management, gain experience with effort-based scheduling and user acceptance testing, and have opportunities to lead complex initiatives that directly impact public employee benefit administration for the people of Oregon.
