Project Sourcing Leader

📋 Description

• • Serve as the primary sourcing contact for assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring end-to-end procurement execution aligned with project timelines and objectives.
• • Collaborate with Global Commodity Managers to align project-specific procurement strategies with overarching strategic sourcing initiatives and business goals.
• • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to define project requirements, negotiate commercial terms, and execute supplier agreements that meet company policy and customer standards.
• • Lead all procurement activities for assigned projects, including the full lifecycle of RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), supplier evaluation, selection, and negotiation to drive cost savings and optimal value.
• • Manage purchase orders in strict alignment with project schedules, budgets, and delivery requirements, expediting and escalating as necessary to prevent delays.
• • Ensure procurement decisions adhere to customer-specific standards such as preferred brands, quality specifications, documentation protocols, and contractual obligations.
• • Coordinate and maintain supplier relationships throughout the project lifecycle, acting as the main point of contact for communication, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
• • Serve as the escalation point for all procurement-related supplier issues, implementing risk mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity and project resilience.
• • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, service levels, and other commercial conditions to achieve targeted cost reductions while maintaining quality and compliance.
• • Analyze project scope, Bill of Materials (BOMs), schedules, and customer requirements to inform sourcing decisions and anticipate potential supply chain impacts.
• • Work with Finance to validate and track the financial impact of sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations on the general ledger.
• • Ensure all contracts and procurement actions comply with internal controls, ethics policies, and applicable industry regulations.
• • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records using ERP and procurement platforms, ensuring audit readiness and data integrity.
• • Support the continuous improvement of sourcing processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability across project portfolios.
• • Demonstrate strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills to balance competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• • Prepare and deliver procurement status reports to project stakeholders during key meetings, communicating risks, milestones, and savings achievements clearly and effectively.
• • Utilize MS Office, Adobe, and Power BI to generate reports, analyze data, and present procurement performance metrics to leadership and cross-functional teams.
