- • Own the end-to-end RFP lifecycle for Standard AI’s most strategic opportunities, managing 15–25 concurrent proposals that range from straightforward renewals to multi-million-dollar, multi-product bids. You will translate dense insurance language into persuasive, compliant narratives that win new group disability, life, dental, vision and retirement business while protecting existing client relationships.
- • Build and maintain a centralized knowledge base in SharePoint and Salesforce that houses vetted answers, product sheets, legal disclosures and pricing models. Your meticulous upkeep will cut response time by 30 % and give sales reps instant access to the latest, regulator-approved content.
- • Orchestrate cross-functional “tiger teams” that include Sales, Underwriting, Legal, Marketing, Product and Actuarial SMEs. You will schedule kick-offs, set internal deadlines, resolve conflicting feedback and keep executive sponsors informed—turning potential chaos into a smooth, transparent workflow that meets or beats every client deadline.
- • Analyze each RFP for compliance gaps, risk factors and win themes; craft tailored executive summaries and visual pitch decks that clearly differentiate The Standard’s financial strength, claims excellence and digital self-service tools. Your deliverables will be the first impression that convinces a CFO or HR Director to trust us with their employees’ financial well-being.
- • Continuously improve our proposal engine by tracking win/loss metrics, client feedback and competitor language. You will pilot AI-enabled content suggestions, A/B test new formats and champion process tweaks that raise win rates year over year.
- • Serve as a mentor to junior analysts, reviewing drafts, sharing best-practice checklists and leading lunch-and-learn sessions on persuasive writing and insurance fundamentals. Your coaching will expand team capacity and deepen our bench of proposal talent.
- • Uphold the highest standards of accuracy and brand voice; every statistic you cite and every clause you include will be triple-checked against current filings and regulatory guidance, ensuring zero post-submission surprises.
- • Champion diversity of thought by inviting differing perspectives during storyboard sessions, fostering an inclusive environment where every SME feels heard and valued—because the best proposals are built on collective insight.
