- • As a Proposal Analyst within RTX’s Centralized Proposal Team, you will play a critical role in supporting Supply Chain-related proposal activities that directly contribute to winning new and follow-on defense contracts, enabling the company to deliver mission-critical aerospace and defense solutions that protect national security and advance technological innovation.
- • You will collaborate closely with external suppliers, Supply Chain leadership, and Estimating teams to ensure proposal accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness, acting as a key liaison in high-stakes pursuits where precision and timeliness directly impact contract awards and organizational success.
- • Day to day, you will support the preparation and distribution of supplier Requests for Proposals (RFPs), systematically collect and validate cost and pricing data from the supply base, and conduct thorough price analyses to assess reasonableness and alignment with historical benchmarks.
- • You will track supplier status and validity across multiple concurrent proposal efforts—from RFP issuance through contract award—ensuring timely follow-up on aging action items and maintaining data integrity in tracking systems.
- • You will monitor, analyze, and report key proposal metrics such as cycle time, compliance rates, and supplier responsiveness to Global Supply Chain Leadership and peers, using insights to drive process improvements and support executive decision-making.
- • You will leverage the Process Reinvention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing (PRISM) platform to extract, validate, and prepare supplier data for engagement, ensuring seamless integration of financial and operational inputs into proposal development workflows.
- • You will review supplier-submitted cost and pricing data for adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 requirements and internal policies, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions to maintain audit readiness and contractual compliance.
- • You will partner with Proposal Managers to synthesize pricing trends, variance analyses, and risk assessments into clear, actionable summaries that inform negotiation strategies and executive briefings.
- • You will maintain meticulous documentation of all proposal-related activities, timelines, and communications, ensuring audit trails are complete and accessible for internal reviews and government inspections.
- • You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple proposal efforts simultaneously.

🎯 Requirements
- • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access government systems and financial data under contractual obligations.
- • A University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 3 years of experience.
- • Proven experience working in the Department of Defense (DoD) Aerospace & Defense industry, preferably in Subcontract Management, Financial Analysis, or Estimating Analyst roles.
