- • As a Protocol Security Engineer at Morpho Inc., you will play a critical role in safeguarding one of the most prominent DeFi lending protocols, ensuring the integrity and resilience of smart contracts that secure over $10 billion in deposits. Your work directly contributes to building trust in an open, permissionless financial system by identifying and mitigating risks before they can impact users or the broader ecosystem.
- • Day to day, you will implement formal verification rules using Certora to validate critical invariants in Morpho’s smart contracts, conduct in-depth security reviews of protocol code to uncover vulnerabilities, manage the end-to-end bug bounty lifecycle including triaging submissions and coordinating responses, develop periphery smart contracts that extend protocol functionality while upholding security standards, research emerging attack vectors and novel vulnerability classes to proactively strengthen defenses, and represent Morpho’s security initiatives at industry events and through technical publications to establish thought leadership.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in formal methods and blockchain security, gain end-to-end ownership of critical security domains, contribute to research-backed best practices that shape industry standards, and have the opportunity to influence the long-term resilience of a foundational DeFi infrastructure while growing as a leader in protocol security.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field
- • 3+ years of experience in smart contracts auditing with a proven track record of identifying critical vulnerabilities
- • Extensive knowledge of Ethereum Virtual Machine, Solidity, and the broader blockchain ecosystem
