📋 Description

• • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients presenting with mental illnesses including major depressive disorder, bipolar illness, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co-morbid substance misuse.
• • Diagnose mental health conditions and develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans with regular assessment of patient progress toward clinical goals.
• • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and patient preferences to optimize pharmacological regimens.
• • Refer and supervise patients undergoing advanced interventional treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Esketamine (SPRAVATO®), and IV Ketamine infusions.
• • Coordinate care by referring patients to Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services when clinically indicated.
• • Order and interpret medical work-ups including laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and specialty consultations to ensure integrated physical and mental health care.
• • Utilize state-of-the-art EHR system with AI-assisted note writing and integrated psychological assessments to streamline documentation and enhance clinical decision-making.
• • Participate in a research-driven practice actively conducting Phase II–IV studies in psychopharmacology to remain at the forefront of evidence-based innovation.
• • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists to deliver cohesive, patient-centered care.
• • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
• • Review clinical outcome measurements and objective data alongside subjective patient reports to refine and improve treatment efficacy.
• • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in alignment with regulatory and institutional standards.
• • Receive comprehensive training in the Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD) program during onboarding to ensure proficiency in advanced therapeutic protocols.
• • Operate within a clinician-centric model where administrative burdens are minimized by dedicated support staff, allowing focus on patient care.
• • Work in one of Hightop Health’s outpatient clinics in Midtown Atlanta, Johns Creek, Roswell, Douglasville, Cartersville, Marietta, or Smyrna, with Peachtree City opening soon.
• • Engage in a practice that blends traditional psychiatric care with novel biological and psychological interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively accepting and incorporating constructive feedback from collaborating physicians and clinical teammates.
• • Apply utilization management principles to optimize patient access to care while maintaining clinical quality and cost-effectiveness.
• • Demonstrate strong diagnostic acumen and clinical judgment in managing acute and chronic psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting.
