📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients presenting with mental illnesses including major depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co-morbid substance misuse.
• Diagnose mental health conditions and develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that integrate biological, psychological, social, and existential factors.
• Prescribe and manage pharmacological regimens, regularly assessing medication effectiveness, side effects, and patient preferences to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Deliver and supervise evidence-based interventional treatments including IV Ketamine and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Refer patients to Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other specialized psychotherapies as clinically indicated.
• Provide supportive therapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups using evidence-based approaches, and coordinate referrals to network providers for specialized therapies such as DBT, CBT, and PET.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and therapists to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
• Order and interpret medical work-ups including laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and specialty consultations to fully integrate physical and mental health assessments.
• Supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), with protected time allocated for teaching and structured collaboration supported by the organization.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic patient records using a state-of-the-art EHR system featuring AI-assisted note writing and integrated psychological instrument assessments for measurement-driven care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through clinical mentorship, research opportunities, and collaboration with a community of renowned clinical leaders.
• Operate within a clinician-centric model where administrative, operational, and business functions are managed by support staff to maximize time spent on direct patient care.
• Engage with cutting-edge outpatient psychiatric services including Esketamine (Spravato) and IV Ketamine as part of an integrative, whole-person care model.
• Contribute to a culture of mutual respect, professional growth, and work-life balance designed to enhance clinician well-being and patient outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Successfully completed an accredited four-year psychiatry residency training program
• In-depth knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities including TMS, Spravato, ketamine, and IOP
• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the state of Georgia
• Proficient in conducting supportive therapy and making appropriate referrals to psychotherapy specialists
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
