📋 Description

  • • As a Public Sector Account Executive at SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc., you will drive revenue growth by selling Identity Security solutions to public sector organizations across France, leveraging SailPoint’s market-leading position recognized by Gartner, Forrester, and KuppingerCole to solve critical enterprise access and risk management challenges.
  • • You will act as the quarterback of a virtual sales team, leading presales, partner managers, deal desk, professional services, BVA, and customer success resources to deliver superior customer experiences from initial discovery through post-sale engagement, ensuring alignment with SailPoint’s core values and competitive differentiation against Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
  • • You will own the full sales cycle—from lead qualification and opportunity planning to demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing—while maintaining accurate Salesforce hygiene, forecasting, and channel management to exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
  • • You will develop and execute territory and account plans, including stakeholder mapping, top 20 account segmentation, and Big Bet account strategies, working closely with marketing and channel managers to align campaigns and partner engagements that accelerate pipeline growth and close gaps to target.
  • • You will deepen your expertise in identity security technology, competitive positioning, and enterprise sales strategy by engaging with leadership, analyzing competitor strategies, and refining go-to-market messaging tailored to the public sector, while earning enablement badges such as “1st Mate” and “Captains” on SailPoint’s HighSpot platform.
  • • You will build long-term customer relationships by conducting regular account reviews, identifying uplift opportunities, leveraging customer references and case studies, and ensuring ongoing coverage through post-sale collaboration, contributing to SailPoint’s 15-year streak as a ‘Best Place to Work’ employer.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record in exceeding revenue quota goals in a complex, solution-based sales environment, preferably within identity security, cybersecurity, or enterprise software sales.
  • • Demonstrated ability to lead virtual, cross-functional teams (presales, partners, professional services, customer success) to drive deal progression and customer success without operating in isolation.
  • • Strong proficiency in Salesforce and Clari for accurate forecasting, activity tracking, pipeline management, and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels—from business executives to technical decision-makers—and articulate SailPoint’s value proposition against competitors like Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or a related field (preferred but not required) or equivalent professional experience.
  • • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time for customer engagements, partner meetings, and internal alignment.
