  • • Join Sine Engineering Inc., a global leader at the forefront of developing advanced radio communication and navigation systems, as we build the mission-critical infrastructure for the multi-million-drone era. At Sine, you will immerse yourself in cutting-edge technologies that are rigorously tested in the world's most challenging environments. This is a unique opportunity to witness your innovative ideas evolve into a sophisticated ecosystem designed to safeguard humanity, contributing directly to the future of UAV technology.
  • • We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Purchasing Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain, directly impacting our ability to deliver groundbreaking products. You will be instrumental in managing the entire lifecycle of purchase orders, from their initial creation based on material requirements planning (MRP), requisitions, or specific project needs, through to their successful completion and the resolution of any associated issues.
  • • A core responsibility will be the meticulous validation of supplier order confirmations. This involves a thorough review of pricing, delivery dates, and quantities to ensure alignment with our requirements and to prevent costly errors. You will be the primary point of contact for suppliers, maintaining daily communication to foster strong relationships and ensure clarity. This proactive engagement is crucial for anticipating potential problems and addressing them before they impact production schedules.
  • • You will be tasked with diligently following up with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery of goods and services. This includes proactively identifying and resolving any delivery delays, shortages, or discrepancies that may arise. Your ability to navigate these challenges effectively will be key to maintaining our production timelines and meeting customer demands. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper and timely receiving of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • • Supporting the onboarding of new suppliers is another critical aspect of this role. You will be responsible for collecting necessary documentation, coordinating internal approval workflows, and ensuring that all new partners meet Sine Engineering's stringent standards. This process is vital for expanding our supplier base and securing competitive advantages.
  • • The Purchasing Specialist will also play a key role in the request for quotation (RFQ) process. You will be responsible for preparing and issuing RFQs, analyzing supplier proposals, and comparing offers to secure the best possible terms and pricing. This analytical approach to procurement will contribute directly to cost savings and improved supplier performance.
  • • This position requires extensive collaboration across multiple departments. You will work closely with Planning to understand future material needs, with Manufacturing to ensure production continuity, with Engineering to support new product development (NPI) and manage engineering changes (ECR/ECO), and with Finance to ensure accurate cost tracking and budget adherence. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with these teams will be essential for success.
  • • During new product development (NPI) phases, you will provide crucial purchasing support, ensuring that all necessary components and materials are sourced efficiently and within budget. You will also be involved in managing engineering changes (ECR/ECO), which includes updating suppliers with revised specifications and adjusting existing purchase orders accordingly to reflect these changes.
  • • This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain broad experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology, contributing to projects that have a real-world impact. The on-site, full-time, permanent position in Tampere provides stability and the chance to grow within a company that values its employees and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • • Sine Engineering is committed to fostering an environment where employees can thrive. We encourage a proactive approach to problem-solving and value individuals who can take initiative and drive results. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and is passionate about procurement and its impact on business success. You will have the autonomy to manage your responsibilities and contribute meaningfully to our strategic objectives.
