- • The QA Specialist role at Ruby Labs is critical to ensuring product quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle, not treated as a final checkpoint. You will own the quality of features from design to release, directly impacting user experience across health, education, and entertainment products.
- • Day to day, you will design and execute test plans, perform exploratory testing, validate API and database integrity, build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, test payment and subscription flows, document bugs with precision, and collaborate with engineers and product managers to uphold quality standards.
- • Ruby Labs is a fast-growing tech company building consumer-facing D2C subscription products in health, education, and entertainment. The company values ownership, technical rigor, and continuous improvement, operating with a remote-first culture aligned to CET time zones.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in test automation, API and database validation, CI/CD integration, and quality process ownership. You’ll have the opportunity to shape QA standards across teams and grow into a leadership role in quality engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in a product or SaaS environment
- • Strong experience with test automation, Playwright + TypeScript strongly preferred
- • Solid experience with API testing using Postman or equivalent tools
- • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification
- • Experience testing subscription funnels, checkout flows, or payment systems
- • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, structured approach to testing
