- • Conducts quality audits on medical billing, coding, receipting, and early out service functions performed by TruBridge employees or contracted staff, ensuring compliance and accuracy in revenue cycle operations.
- • Discusses audit findings with auditees and supervisors, summarizes results, and reports to management at prescribed intervals to drive continuous improvement.
- • Investigates, analyzes, negotiates, resolves, documents, and reports on consumer and commercial billing issues and complaints, identifying solutions and presenting resolution options to customers.
- • Authorizes billing settlements within established limits and adjusts customer accounts to resolve disputes fairly and efficiently.
- • Develops training materials and conducts presentations for audited staff to support skill development and compliance understanding.
- • Assists in creating training plans for clients, TruBridge employees, and sub-contracted personnel to enhance organizational knowledge and performance.
- • Works independently and collaboratively as a team member, applying strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills to manage multiple audit cycles and follow through on issues to resolution.
- • Uses intermediate Excel skills to track, analyze, and report audit data, supporting data-driven decision-making in revenue cycle management.
- • Communicates audit findings confidently and constructively in group settings, teaching billing compliance concepts to individuals or teams.
- • Contributes to TruBridge’s mission of improving healthcare financial operations by ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction in billing processes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3 years of revenue cycle experience
- • Intermediate level of Excel experience
- • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- • Detail-oriented with ability to follow through on issues to resolution
- • Able to work independently and as a team member
- • Comfortable speaking in group settings and presenting audit findings confidently and constructively
- • Able to teach billing compliance concepts to individuals or groups
- • Associates degree or higher, or equivalent years of experience in a related field (preferred)
