📋 Description
- • The Quality Management Specialist at Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is responsible for coordinating and implementing quality improvement activities and initiatives for the Healthcare Management Division, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing licensure and regulatory standards, conducting audits and root cause analyses, monitoring performance metrics, supporting quality improvement committees, and overseeing accreditation and customer satisfaction processes.
- • The role serves as a cross-functional resource for regulatory and quality compliance, educating staff and promoting consistent, high-quality healthcare management operations across the organization.
- • This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in healthcare quality management, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement while contributing to meaningful improvements in patient care and organizational excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active Unrestricted Registered Nurse License issued by a U.S. state or territory
- • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in areas such as medical/surgical, community health, or home health nursing
- • Ability to read, interpret, and apply documents, criteria, instructions, and policy & procedure manuals
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, physicians, providers, and internal teams
- • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time-sensitive assignments in a dynamic team environment
- • Proficiency in mathematical computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates, ratios, and percentages
