- • The Rare Disease Business Manager (RDBM) for Lysosomal Storage Disorders (LSD) at Takeda drives business success by building relationships with healthcare providers, educating them on rare diseases like Gaucher and Hunter Syndrome, and supporting early diagnosis and treatment through scientific engagement and strategic planning.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include executing brand strategies to meet sales goals, engaging target physicians with disease-state education, analyzing market data to prioritize opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, attending conferences to raise awareness, and integrating sales leads with stakeholder activities to optimize customer engagement.
- • The role sits within Takeda’s U.S. Foundational Therapies Platform (FTP) Business Unit, which unites Immunology, Hematology, LSD, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, and Transport portfolios to deliver sustained, coordinated care for patients with chronic conditions. The team emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and patient-centered partnership across the healthcare ecosystem.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in rare disease therapeutics, refine strategic territory management, strengthen consultative selling and data analysis skills, and gain experience navigating complex reimbursement and access landscapes in specialty pharmaceuticals.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device, or 2+ years at Takeda
- • Experience with complex sales models and demonstrated success in strategic territory management
- • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external teams
- • Strong marketplace acumen and proven analytical capabilities
- • Experience working in a highly regulated marketplace

- • Competitive base salary range of $148,000.00 - $203,500.00
