  • • The Locums Recruiter plays a critical role in identifying and qualifying healthcare providers for VISTA’s clients, supporting short-term, long-term, and permanent placements across the U.S. and internationally through a consultative sales approach.
  • • Day to day, the recruiter sources candidates via marketing inquiries, internal and purchased databases, internet research, medical conferences, networking, cold calling, and emailing; qualifies candidates while selling the benefits of locum tenens work; educates providers on VISTA’s offerings; builds long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals; guides candidates through application, credentialing, and contracting; collaborates on contract negotiations including compensation and billing rates; sets expectations; maintains provider communication; develops marketing strategies; tracks performance metrics; participates in after-hours call rotation when needed; and assists with special projects and team priorities.
  • • Ingenovis Health, through its VISTA brand, is a healthcare staffing organization focused on connecting qualified medical professionals with facilities needing temporary or permanent coverage, operating in a performance-driven, team-based environment that values consultative selling and provider relationships.
  • • In this role, the recruiter will develop expertise in healthcare recruiting, locum tenens industry dynamics, consultative sales techniques, contract negotiation, and performance metric achievement; build strong interpersonal and organizational skills; gain experience in full-cycle recruitment; and have opportunities to cross-train, take on special projects, and grow within a supportive, learning-focused team.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • • Proven recruiter experience, preferably 2 years, with physician recruiting experience strongly preferred for internal applicants
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software
  • • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to build rapport and maintain provider relationships
  • • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • • Understanding of and ability to meet performance metrics, including revenue and placement goals
