- • As a Recruiter at Tempo Labs Inc., you will play a pivotal role in scaling a mission-driven blockchain company that is building the foundational infrastructure for real-world payments onchain, directly contributing to the company’s ability to attract and retain elite global talent across engineering, product, design, and growth functions.
- • You will be instrumental in evolving Tempo’s hiring engine into a high-throughput, high-signal system that not only fills roles efficiently but also strengthens the company’s talent brand and ensures alignment with its ambitious vision of moving money reliably, cheaply, and at scale.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assembling world-class engineering, product, design, and growth teams by sourcing, assessing, and closing top-tier candidates across global markets, leveraging both traditional and innovative recruitment strategies.
- • You will build and optimize a scalable hiring machine by designing structured interview processes, implementing data-driven sourcing tactics, and utilizing AI tools to enhance candidate identification, engagement, and evaluation at every stage of the funnel.
- • You will partner closely with hiring managers to guide decision-making, provide market insights, calibrate on role requirements, and ensure consistent application of Tempo’s high talent bar across all departments.
- • You will define and evolve Tempo’s candidate-facing talent brand by crafting compelling narratives, managing employer branding touchpoints, and creating authentic candidate experiences that reflect the company’s culture of crypto-optimism, scrappiness, and high-impact innovation.
- • You will embrace and integrate AI into recruitment workflows — from sourcing and screening to outreach and assessment — to increase efficiency, reduce bias, and uncover hidden talent pools in competitive markets.
- • You will operate as a utility player across the talent team, stepping in wherever needed to support urgent hiring needs, improve recruitment operations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Tempo’s people systems.
- • You will join a team of crypto-optimists backed by industry leaders including Anthropic, Coupang, Deutsche Bank, DoorDash, Mercury, Nubank, OpenAI, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, Visa, and others, working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where impact and ownership are expected and rewarded.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in blockchain and fintech talent markets, refine your ability to assess both technical and non-technical excellence at a global 1% level, and become a trusted advisor to leadership on talent strategy — positioning yourself for growth into senior talent leadership or specialized recruitment domains.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of hands-on recruiting experience in startup or high-growth technology companies, with a proven track record of building world-class technical and/or non-technical teams.
- • Demonstrated history of establishing and sustaining a top-1% global talent bar, with evidence of consistent success in identifying, attracting, and retaining elite performers.
- • Strong preference for candidates with deep experience in crypto, fintech, or payments industries, including familiarity with the unique talent dynamics and competitive landscapes of these sectors.
- • Exceptional organizational and logistical skills, coupled with a scrappy, growth-oriented mindset and the willingness to take initiative across ambiguous or evolving priorities.
- • Razor-sharp thinking, precise communication, and evidence-based storytelling ability to effectively engage candidates and influence hiring decisions.
- • High motor, intense curiosity, open-mindedness, and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in fast-moving environments.
