  • • As a Recruiter for the Africa Market, you will be instrumental in scaling Capi’s critical Business, Sales, and Operations teams across the continent. This role is pivotal in executing our ambitious hiring strategy and directly contributes to our expansion and success.
  • • You will own the entire recruitment lifecycle for high-impact roles, from initial sourcing to offer acceptance, operating within a dynamic and fast-growing fintech environment. Your ability to partner effectively with hiring managers will be key to meeting aggressive hiring targets and tight deadlines.
  • • This position is designed for a proactive and results-oriented individual who thrives on sourcing top talent. You should possess a strong sales mindset, a genuine passion for identifying and attracting exceptional individuals, and the agility to move quickly without compromising on quality.
  • • You will act as a facilitator of efficient hiring processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all stakeholders, rather than a bottleneck. A deep understanding of and connection to the local and regional talent market in Africa is essential, enabling you to build and maintain high-quality, ready-to-activate talent pools.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a core execution arm of the Africa hiring strategy, reporting directly to the Regional Talent Manager. You will be empowered to make a significant impact and raise the bar for talent acquisition at Capi.
  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Generation:
  • • Proactively identify and engage top-tier talent through direct outreach, leveraging referrals, professional communities, and extensive local networks.
  • • Develop and meticulously maintain robust, ready-to-activate talent pipelines, prioritizing both the quality of candidates and the speed of engagement.
  • • Embody the role of a true talent hunter, employing a compelling sales mindset to attract, engage, and successfully convert high-potential candidates.
  • • Maintain a constant pulse on the local and regional talent market, understanding candidate movements, availability, and optimal engagement strategies.
  • • End-to-End Recruitment Execution:
  • • Manage the complete recruitment process, from initial candidate intake and sourcing through to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and seamless onboarding.
  • • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to gain a profound understanding of business objectives, role priorities, and the specific criteria for success.
  • • Drive hiring processes that are characterized by speed, structure, and an exceptional candidate experience, without ever sacrificing quality.
  • • Ensure efficient coordination across all interview stages and serve as the primary, responsive point of contact for all candidates.
  • • Candidate Experience & Engagement:
  • • Deliver a consistently high-quality, transparent, and engaging candidate experience at every touchpoint.
  • • Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with candidates, fostering a positive impression of Capi even for those not hired immediately.
  • • Maintain rigorous follow-up, set clear expectations, and consistently represent Capi as a high-standard, high-performance employer of choice.
  • • Market Intelligence & Talent Network:
  • • Actively expand and nurture a strong personal and company-wide talent network across various African markets.
  • • Share valuable insights on talent availability, prevailing compensation trends, and broader market dynamics with the wider Talent team.
  • • Represent Capi by participating in relevant local events, professional communities, and informal networks to enhance our employer brand.
  • • Process, Performance & Continuous Improvement:
  • • Diligently track recruitment activities and outcomes, measuring performance against defined hiring targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • • Proactively identify process bottlenecks and propose practical, effective improvements to our recruitment methodologies, tools, and overall operational efficiency.
  • • Actively contribute to post-hiring retrospectives, driving a culture of continuous learning and consistently raising the bar for execution and results.
  • • Strategically leverage modern recruitment technologies and AI-driven solutions to optimize workflow, enhance speed, and improve overall effectiveness.
