- • As a Recruiter for Forward Deployed Engineering at OpenAI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of artificial intelligence by identifying and hiring exceptional talent who transform cutting-edge research into real-world AI systems. - • You will manage full-cycle recruitment for OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team, partnering closely with engineering leaders to understand technical hiring needs, develop proactive sourcing strategies, and close high-impact candidates. This includes leveraging advanced sourcing techniques, managing candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a seamless, compliant hiring process from initial outreach to offer acceptance.
- • You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Legal, and Compensation teams to ensure recruitment practices are equitable, compliant with global employment laws, and aligned with OpenAI’s values of safety, inclusivity, and innovation. Your expertise will help refine interview processes, improve candidate evaluation frameworks, and strengthen OpenAI’s employer brand in competitive talent markets.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in-house at high-growth technology companies
- • Proven track record of hiring top 1% technical talent, particularly in engineering or software development roles
- • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms (e.g., Ashby) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
- • Strong ability to partner with technical hiring managers and translate business needs into effective hiring strategies
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging global stakeholders and diverse candidate pools
