We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruiter to spearhead our full-cycle hiring efforts across critical departments, including Go-To-Market (GTM), Product, and Engineering. This role also encompasses supporting essential on-site office operations in our vibrant New York City hub.
  • This is a recruiting-centric position, with approximately 75% of your time dedicated to the intricate and rewarding process of full-cycle recruitment. The remaining 25% will be focused on ensuring the smooth functioning of our NYC office. We are looking for a hands-on, execution-oriented professional who possesses a deep understanding of running end-to-end recruitment processes and a proven ability to consistently attract and secure top-tier talent, even in highly competitive markets. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and founders, acting as a brand ambassador and the primary point of contact for candidates throughout their journey with Scrunch.
  • As our Recruiter, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our teams by owning the complete recruitment lifecycle for both non-technical roles (Sales, Marketing, Operations) and technical positions (Engineering, Product). This involves proactively sourcing, meticulously screening, and effectively managing candidate pipelines across multiple open requisitions simultaneously. You will partner strategically with hiring managers to precisely define role requirements, identify ideal candidate profiles, and design robust interview processes that ensure fairness and efficiency.
  • Your responsibilities will extend to driving candidates through interview loops with professionalism and speed, ensuring a positive and engaging experience at every stage. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is crucial, as is providing clear, consistent, and timely hiring updates to all relevant stakeholders. You will serve as the main liaison for candidates, addressing their inquiries and concerns with empathy and expertise.
  • A key aspect of this role is the ability to confidently close candidates at the offer stage, skillfully navigating objections and competing offers to secure the best talent. Delivering a high-touch, exceptional candidate experience from the initial outreach to the signed offer is paramount to our employer brand. Beyond recruitment, you will contribute to the operational excellence of our NYC office, serving as an on-site point of contact for daily needs. This includes being the first impression for visitors, managing deliveries, and liaising with vendors and building management regarding access, maintenance, and facilities.
  • You will also play a role in supporting onboarding logistics, such as coordinating badge access, desk setup, and preparing welcome packets for new hires. Furthermore, you'll assist in organizing internal events, team gatherings, and all-hands meetings, fostering a strong company culture. Maintaining an organized inventory of office supplies and managing reorders will ensure our workspace remains well-equipped. Ad hoc administrative and operational tasks will also be part of your dynamic role, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated recruiting experience, with a strong preference for experience within startups or other fast-paced, high-growth technology companies.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting for Go-To-Market (Sales, Marketing) and software engineering roles, showcasing a broad range of recruitment capabilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing candidates in competitive technical and sales markets, indicating strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority searches concurrently without compromising quality or speed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and professionalism to represent the company effectively to senior candidates and stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to dedicate approximately 25% of your time to on-site office management and front-office support responsibilities.
  • Must be based in the New York City metropolitan area and able to commit to working in the office 3 days per week (hybrid model).
