  • • As a Recruiting Ops team member at Tempo Labs Inc., you will serve as the logistical engine powering a seamless, human-first hiring experience for candidates and hiring teams alike, directly supporting the company’s mission to build scalable, low-cost blockchain infrastructure for real-world payments by ensuring talent acquisition keeps pace with rapid growth.
  • • Your work will directly impact Tempo’s ability to attract and retain top-tier talent from leading organizations in AI, fintech, and global finance by delivering a consistently exceptional candidate journey that reflects the company’s values of clarity, thoughtfulness, and innovation.
  • • Day to day, you will manage end-to-end interview scheduling across multiple time zones for phone screens, virtual interviews, and onsite loops, coordinating interviewer availability, handling rescheduling, and managing complex multi-step sequences to ensure no candidate is left waiting or confused.
  • • You will communicate proactively with candidates and interviewers, providing timely updates, interview preparation materials, and clear touchpoints at every stage to create a supportive, informed, and valued experience from application to offer.
  • • You will maintain accurate candidate data and hiring pipelines in the ATS (Ashby or Greenhouse), ensuring data integrity, tracking funnel metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and partnering with recruiters to drive continuous process improvements.
  • • You will build and refine recruiting workflows, templates, documentation, and scheduling best practices, standardizing processes to increase efficiency and scalability as the team grows.
  • • You will support candidate handoff to onboarding by collaborating with People, IT, and Finance teams to ensure new hire logistics are smooth, timely, and welcoming.
  • • You will assist in interviewer training, calibration sessions, and internal process rollouts, helping to maintain consistency and fairness in evaluation across hiring teams.
  • • You will contribute to Tempo’s talent brand by crafting high-quality, candidate-facing communications—emails, scheduling notes, job description snippets, and resources—that reflect the company’s clear, thoughtful, and candidate-first culture.
  • • You will help maintain a consistent employer voice across all candidate touchpoints, partnering with recruiting and marketing to ensure messaging aligns with Tempo’s identity as a innovative, mission-driven blockchain builder.
  • • You will support social, content, or recruiting campaigns that highlight Tempo’s culture and mission, helping attract top talent from organizations like Anthropic, Coupang, Deutsche Bank, DoorDash, Mercury, Nubank, OpenAI, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, Visa, and others.
  • • You will gather and elevate candidate feedback to identify pain points in the hiring journey and drive improvements that enhance brand perception and overall experience.
  • • You will work cross-functionally with People, IT, and Finance to support onboarding initiatives, hiring sprints, pipeline programs, and recruiting events, ensuring operational alignment across departments.
  • • You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, in-person environment in San Francisco (with occasional NYC collaboration), where moving fast and swinging for the fences is the norm, and your organizational rigor directly enables Tempo’s ambitious hiring goals.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Extensive experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, executive scheduling, or similar roles, preferably with expert-level proficiency in Ashby ATS.
  • • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage high-volume, complex scheduling across multiple time zones while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • • Proactive communication style and high EQ—anticipating needs, resolving conflicts, and building trust with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers through empathy and clarity.
  • • Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments, adaptable to shifting priorities, and passionate about optimizing processes and systems.
  • • Service-oriented mindset with a genuine love for logistics, calendars, and creating seamless experiences that make people feel supported and valued.
