• • As a Recruiting Specialist at IXL Learning, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and engaging top talent to support our mission of improving learning for millions of students globally. You will be an integral part of our dynamic recruiting team, working closely with experienced recruiters to understand specific business needs and to help craft and execute innovative strategies for identifying and securing exceptional candidates.
• • Your primary focus will be on managing the crucial top-of-funnel candidate activity. This involves meticulously reviewing inbound candidate applications, thoroughly evaluating qualifications against defined criteria, and identifying the most promising individuals who align with our high standards and specific role requirements. This requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes a candidate a strong fit for IXL.
• • A significant part of your role will be conducting initial candidate phone screens. These conversations are vital for assessing a candidate's core skills, relevant experience, and their potential cultural fit within IXL Learning. You will be responsible for asking insightful questions, actively listening to responses, and making informed preliminary judgments about candidate suitability.
• • You will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with your recruiting colleagues and hiring managers. This collaboration is essential for ensuring consistent, timely, and transparent communication with both candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the entire hiring lifecycle. Keeping everyone informed and engaged is key to a successful recruitment process.
• • While your primary focus is on the top of the funnel, you will also have the opportunity to perform full-cycle recruiting for select assigned positions as needed. This will provide you with broader exposure to the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• • A core tenet of this role is to maintain a seamless and efficient candidate experience. Every interaction a candidate has with IXL Learning, from their initial application to the final outcome, should leave a positive and lasting impression. Your efforts will directly contribute to IXL's employer brand and reputation in the competitive talent market.
• • You will be instrumental in developing and implementing creative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates who may not be actively looking but possess the skills and experience we seek. This could involve leveraging various platforms, networking, and innovative outreach methods.
• • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity for reporting and analysis. This includes tracking candidate progress, interview feedback, and communication logs.
• • You will assist in scheduling interviews, coordinating logistics between candidates and hiring teams, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and processed efficiently.
• • You will contribute to building and nurturing a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, proactively engaging with potential candidates and building relationships.
