  • • Vana, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our growing team in Guatemala. This role is pivotal in ensuring we attract and onboard top talent for our operational positions, with a primary focus on areas such as customer service, telemarketing, and collections, though not exclusively limited to these fields. You will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring swift response times and delivering an exceptional candidate and internal stakeholder experience. Your primary mission will be to drive efficient and effective recruitment processes that support Vana's rapid expansion and operational needs.
  • • As a Junior Recruiter, you will take ownership of the entire recruitment and selection process for a variety of operational roles. This includes everything from initial sourcing to final onboarding, ensuring that each step is executed with precision and a focus on quality. You will be the first point of contact for many potential Vana employees, embodying our company culture and values.
  • • A key responsibility will be the strategic design and publication of compelling job advertisements across various professional portals and social media platforms. This involves crafting engaging content that accurately reflects the role, the team, and Vana's unique value proposition, attracting a diverse and qualified pool of candidates. You will leverage your understanding of different platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
  • • You will be adept at conducting thorough resume screenings and initial interviews, utilizing both telephone and virtual face-to-face methods. The goal is to identify candidates who not only possess the required skills and experience but also align with Vana's culture and long-term vision. Your ability to quickly assess candidate potential will be crucial.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve coordinating interviews between candidates and internal hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all parties. You will meticulously track candidate progress through the pipeline, providing timely updates and managing expectations.
  • • Maintaining and actively updating our candidate database is essential. This involves ensuring all candidate information is accurate, organized, and easily accessible, allowing for efficient future recruitment efforts and the development of talent pipelines. You will be responsible for the integrity and usability of this critical HR asset.
  • • You will play a vital role in executing mass recruitment campaigns to fill high-volume vacancies within tight deadlines. This requires a strategic approach to sourcing, screening, and selection, often involving large numbers of candidates. Your ability to manage these large-scale operations efficiently will directly impact our ability to scale.
  • • Clear, consistent, and proactive communication is paramount. You will maintain open lines of communication with candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, providing them with necessary information and support. Equally important is maintaining strong relationships and providing regular updates to internal departments, ensuring they are informed and engaged.
  • • You will act as a trusted partner to the assigned departments, offering support and guidance in their talent acquisition strategies and contributing to the growth and development of their teams. This involves understanding their specific needs and challenges and tailoring recruitment approaches accordingly.
  • • Reporting on recruitment progress and key performance metrics, such as vacancy coverage rates and time-to-hire, will be a regular duty. This data will be used to identify areas for improvement and to demonstrate the impact of the recruitment function on the business. Your insights will help shape future recruitment strategies.
