- • Regional Commercial Lead, Sovereign - APAC at ReflectionAI Inc. is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving sovereign revenue across the Asia-Pacific region. This position is critical to the company’s mission of building open superintelligence and making it accessible to nation-states, enterprises, and individuals by securing high-value government contracts that enable the deployment of foundational AI models in public sector contexts.
- • The role owns the full deal lifecycle for sovereign engagements in APAC, from initial market development and stakeholder mapping through complex negotiations, commercial structuring, and final contract execution. Success requires translating technical AI capabilities into strategic value propositions for government leaders while navigating regulatory, geopolitical, and multi-party dynamics.
- • The Commercial Lead will develop and execute a tailored go-to-market strategy for the APAC region, prioritizing high-potential markets, accounts, and engagement channels based on geopolitical trends, regulatory readiness, and competitive intelligence to ensure sustainable, long-term revenue growth.
- • A core responsibility involves building and maintaining trusted relationships with C-suite executives, senior government officials, and strategic partners across APAC nations, representing ReflectionAI in high-level commercial, policy, and diplomatic forums to position the company as a trusted partner in national AI advancement.
- • The role includes proactive opportunity sourcing through monitoring RFPs, tracking legislative and regulatory shifts, analyzing competitive movements, and interpreting regional intelligence to shape early-stage engagements before formal procurement processes begin.
- • Close cross-functional collaboration is essential, requiring partnership with Legal, Product, Policy, Communications, Government Relations, and Finance teams to structure deals that are not only commercially competitive but also legally sound, technically feasible, and aligned with ReflectionAI’s open-model ethos and compliance standards.
- • The Commercial Lead will continuously monitor regulatory evolution, competitor activity, and macroeconomic or security-related developments across APAC markets, synthesizing these insights into actionable adjustments to pricing, positioning, partnership models, and engagement tactics.
- • This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role suited for a seasoned commercial leader who thrives in ambiguous, long-cycle environments and can operate with minimal supervision while making strategic decisions that influence ReflectionAI’s global footprint and credibility in the sovereign AI space.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales, Commercial Diplomacy, Government Sales, or equivalent sovereign-facing roles with a focus on the APAC region
- • Proven track record of successfully closing complex, high-value government contracts involving multi-stakeholder negotiations and long sales cycles
- • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and senior government leadership in APAC countries
- • Strong commercial judgment and comfort operating independently in ambiguous, high-stakes contexts with minimal oversight
- • Experience navigating regulatory complexity, geopolitical sensitivity, and multi-party environments in technology or infrastructure deals
