  • As the Regional Partner Relations Lead for Asia at dLocal, you will be instrumental in shaping and expanding our presence in one of the world's most dynamic emerging markets. This pivotal role sits within the Growth Ops & Partnerships team, where you will be the primary architect and custodian of our critical relationships with local payment partners, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies across the entire Asian continent. Your mission is to transform strategic alliances into tangible, sustainable growth in Total Payment Volume (TPV), robust profit margins, and unwavering operational resilience for the region.
  • You will serve as dLocal's authoritative and trusted "face in the market" for our most important processors, digital wallets, banking partners, and key regulatory entities throughout Asia. This involves a deep understanding of local market nuances, regulatory landscapes, and the competitive environment to effectively represent dLocal's interests and objectives.
  • A core responsibility will be to translate dLocal's overarching global strategy into concrete, actionable local execution. This will be achieved through the development and meticulous management of joint business plans with partners, rigorous performance monitoring and optimization, and the proactive identification and integration of new payment capabilities and services that enhance our offering.
  • Beyond relationship management, you will play a crucial role in streamlining and optimizing how dLocal manages its partner ecosystem. This includes refining data management practices, improving workflow efficiencies, and championing the adoption of automation and technological solutions to enhance scalability, accuracy, and speed in our operations.
  • This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to identifying new partnership opportunities that align with dLocal's growth objectives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of these partnerships, from initial outreach and negotiation to ongoing management and performance review.
  • You will be the central point of contact for resolving complex operational and commercial challenges that may arise with our partners, requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate intricate situations with diplomacy and efficiency.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders is paramount. You will work hand-in-hand with the Commercial teams to ensure that partnership strategies directly support revenue generation and market penetration goals. Simultaneously, you will partner with Operations to guarantee seamless integration and reliable performance of payment processing capabilities, minimizing friction and maximizing uptime.
  • Your role will also involve staying abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and payment trends across various Asian markets. You will act as an internal expert, advising relevant teams on compliance matters and ensuring that dLocal's operations remain fully compliant and ahead of regulatory changes.
  • You will contribute to the development of best practices for partner management within dLocal, sharing insights and learnings across the global team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • The successful candidate will be adept at data analysis, using performance metrics to drive strategic decisions, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate the value of our partnerships.
  • You will be responsible for negotiating and managing commercial terms with partners, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and contribute positively to dLocal's profitability and market position.

  • You will report directly to the VP Growth Ops & Partnerships, providing regular updates on regional performance, key initiatives, and market intelligence.
  • Your cross-functional collaboration will extend to Product, Operations, Finance, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, and Public Affairs teams, ensuring that commercial opportunities are effectively translated into timely and successful deliveries, and that regulatory landscapes are navigated with expertise.
