  • • A Regional Sales Associate at Dow Jones & Company, Inc. (OPIS) drives revenue growth by selling specialized information services and software solutions to executives in the downstream fuel industry across the United States and Canada. This remote role is critical to expanding market share and maintaining long-term client relationships in a competitive energy sector.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include following up on sales inquiries, scheduling and conducting sales calls, qualifying prospects via telephone, recording activities in CRM (NetSuite), developing account and territory strategies, preparing accurate sales forecasts, achieving monthly/quarterly/annual quotas, identifying upselling opportunities, and maintaining both existing and new client bases.
  • • The role reports to a Houston-based team within Dow Jones’ Energy business area, collaborating with internal analysts, economists, and product managers to deliver tailored solutions. The company is a globally recognized leader in financial news and data, providing OPIS with strong brand credibility and market access.
  • • The associate will develop deep expertise in the downstream fuel industry value proposition, refine advanced sales techniques, master CRM and sales forecasting tools, and build a track record of exceeding quotas—positioning them for advancement into senior sales or account leadership roles within Dow Jones.

🎯 Requirements

  • • University degree
  • • 2 to 3 years of experience managing end-to-end sales for new and renewal business
  • • Knowledge and genuine interest in the Energy industry
  • • Proficient in CRM solutions (NetSuite)
  • • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • • Highly organized and efficient at managing multiple priorities
