  • • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused on the SMB segment in ANZ, you will play a pivotal role in driving top-of-funnel growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers for Deel’s all-in-one global payroll and HR platform. Your work directly fuels pipeline development and revenue performance by uncovering client needs, educating prospects, and generating qualified opportunities that enable Account Executives to close deals—making you a critical contributor to Deel’s mission of unlocking global opportunity for every person, team, and business.
  • • Day to day, you will generate new business opportunities through strategic inbound and outbound prospecting across email, phone, social channels, events, and targeted campaigns; conduct deep research to identify and qualify prospective clients by understanding their unique challenges, readiness to engage, and fit with Deel’s solutions; create and execute personalized outreach sequences, including tailored email campaigns and cold-calling strategies, to map and penetrate key accounts within your assigned segment; educate and nurture leads through consistent, value-driven communication to progress them toward qualified meetings or next steps in the buyer journey; maintain meticulous and up-to-date lead and activity data in CRM and sales engagement tools to ensure accuracy and visibility across the sales team; collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities, providing context and insights that accelerate the sales cycle; partner with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to refine lead-generation processes, optimize messaging, and improve workflow efficiency based on real-time feedback and performance data; consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings, Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs), and pipeline contribution, directly impacting Deel’s growth trajectory; and actively participate in ongoing training, coaching, and skill development programs designed to sharpen your prospecting, communication, and sales acumen in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience in sales development, business development, or outbound commercial roles, with a proven ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline-generation targets.
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective prospect engagement across email, phone, social, and other channels with clarity, empathy, and persistence.
  • • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities and outreach activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
  • • Comfortable working autonomously, taking initiative, and sourcing solutions independently while adapting quickly to changes in process, product, or market focus.
  • • Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus; familiarity with platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or SalesLoft is advantageous.
  • • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong growth orientation, coupled with strong written communication skills to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages and campaign sequences.
