- • As a Regional Sales Director for Abbott Diabetes Care, you will drive the long-term growth of Freestyle Libre products by leading a high-performing, customer-centric sales force across a designated region, directly impacting Abbott’s market leadership in diabetes care.
- • Day to day, you will increase regional sales and profits, leverage business analytics and customer insights to shape omnichannel engagement strategies, build strategic relationships with senior healthcare stakeholders, lead complex negotiations, manage regional P&L, develop and coach sales managers and teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations while fostering ethical, customer-centric behavior.
- • Abbott Laboratories is a global healthcare leader with 115,000 colleagues serving over 160 countries, dedicated to helping people live more fully through innovations in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and branded generic medicines; Abbott Diabetes Care is a division focused on advancing diabetes management through technology like the Freestyle Libre system.

🎯 Requirements
- • Four-year university degree; MBA preferred but not required
- • Minimum 10-15 years of progressive sales management or related industry experience, including managing managers and large teams
- • Proven ability to translate insights into compelling stories and present confidently to all audiences, especially in challenging situations
- • Demonstrated leadership in adapting to ambiguity, solving problems creatively, and helping teams overcome resistance to change
- • Experience in cross-functional areas such as Key Account Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, or Strategy
