- • The Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast Region (OH, PA, MD, DC, VA) is responsible for selling commercial vision programs to employers in a specific geographic territory, driving new business growth and serving as a highly accomplished "driver" of new business with a proven history of selling ancillary benefits—specifically vision, dental, or related products—to Small and Mid-Group customers (<5,000 lives) in the commercial market.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and managing distribution partner relationships to generate RFPs and bid opportunities, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to meet or exceed revenue targets, preparing and delivering competitive proposals, serving as the primary point of contact between prospects, clients, and internal teams, participating in industry conferences, retaining and expanding existing client relationships through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, cultivating territory sales plans, collaborating with Account Management and Implementation teams for smooth onboarding, coordinating cross-functional resources to achieve account objectives, partnering with Marketing and Design teams to develop client-facing materials, monitoring market trends, achieving or exceeding sales and financial goals, generating accurate monthly sales and activity reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and delivering client presentations as required.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in ancillary benefits, managed care, vision, dental, or healthcare, effectively demonstrating the competencies above.
- • 2+ years of experience presenting to executive-level audiences, including HR, Benefits Leadership, or C-suite decision makers.
- • Experience working with sales automation tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting.
- • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- • Strong understanding of employer benefits strategy, including funding arrangements, enrollment cycles, and renewal dynamics.
- • Ability to analyze data and sales performance metrics to optimize territory results.
