  • • The Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Region (KY, GA, TN) is responsible for selling commercial vision programs to employers, driving new business growth in ancillary benefits for small and mid-group customers (<5,000 lives). This role is critical to expanding Avesis’ market presence and revenue through consultative sales and trusted advisor relationships.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and managing distribution partner relationships, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, preparing and delivering competitive proposals, serving as the primary client contact, participating in industry events, retaining and expanding existing accounts through cross-sell and up-sell, collaborating with Account Management and Implementation teams for smooth onboarding, coordinating cross-functional resources with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, generating monthly sales reports, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and delivering client presentations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in ancillary benefits, managed care, vision, dental, or healthcare
  • • 2+ years of experience presenting to executive-level audiences (HR, Benefits Leadership, or C-suite decision makers)
  • • Proficiency with sales automation tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
  • • Strong understanding of employer benefits strategy, including funding arrangements, enrollment cycles, and renewal dynamics
  • • Ability to analyze data and sales performance metrics to optimize territory results
  • • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
