  • • As a Regional Sales Manager for Utah and Nevada at Calix, Inc., you will be at the forefront of a transformative era in the broadband industry, playing a pivotal role in enabling Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to innovate, simplify operations, and achieve significant growth.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to orchestrate and lead the organization's engagements with key customers and prospects, taking ownership of successfully selling and negotiating complex, multi-year business relationships with senior client executives, including CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, and Board of Directors.
  • • You will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive territory and account strategies designed to maximize revenue potential across the entire Calix platform, which includes cloud-first, AI-powered solutions that simplify operations, reduce costs, and accelerate innovation.
  • • This role demands a deep understanding of the client's business objectives, financial strategies, and future directions, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscapes.
  • • You will act as a key evangelist for the Calix Platform vision, articulating its unique and compelling value proposition to ensure customer decision-makers clearly grasp the short-term and long-term business and financial benefits of partnering with Calix.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves strategic account management and value-based selling, focusing on how the total Calix platform can empower clients to transform their operations and achieve their business goals.
  • • You will frequently collaborate with and partner with other companies to enhance Calix's solutions or strengthen client relationships, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of ecosystem dynamics.
  • • A proven competency in selling within a structured methodology that drives predictable pipeline quality and growth is essential, ensuring a consistent and effective sales approach.
  • • Success in this role requires adeptness at selling within a matrixed environment, understanding the goals of colleagues, and orchestrating team efforts in an inclusive and optimized manner to achieve collective success.
  • • You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, leading and participating in the development of complex solutions, establishing competitive value propositions, and driving deals to closure.
  • • The ability to conduct excellent discovery processes and leverage insightful questions to learn about client needs and lead discussions effectively is paramount.
  • • You will need to demonstrate a successful track record of sales achievements, particularly with increasingly complex deals and solutions.
  • • A well-developed and consistent sales process/methodology focused on selling to business outcomes is critical for success.
  • • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are vital for building rapport, influencing stakeholders, and fostering strong, lasting client relationships.
  • • This position requires regional travel of approximately 50%-60% to engage with clients and prospects across Utah and Nevada.
  • • You will be expected to maintain a valid Driver's License to facilitate travel requirements.
  • • The role is remote, based within Utah or Nevada, offering flexibility while requiring a commitment to in-person meetings as part of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • • You will be responsible for understanding and communicating the total compensation package, including on-target earnings which vary based on geographic location, and providing information on the comprehensive benefits offered by Calix.
