- • The Regional Underwriting Manager (Agency) supports the underwriting department by ensuring service level agreements are met and providing solutions to loan-level questions and escalations from underwriters.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring underwriters, serving as the primary point of contact for guidance, reviewing loan files and reports, managing pipelines to maintain SLA compliance, conducting branch welcome calls, reviewing timecards and PTO, and assisting with special projects as directed.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications are required; USDA experience is a plus
- • 5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience (FHA, VA, Conventional) with agency guideline knowledge
- • 5+ years of underwriting supervisory experience
- • Encompass LOS experience
- • Knowledge of ATR/QM, compliance, and disclosure requirements
- • Excellent communication and organizational skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
