- • As Regional Vice President - Annuities (Texas) at CMFG Life Insurance Company (operating as TruStage), you will drive annuity deposit growth and increase total assets under management within an assigned geographic territory by leading face-to-face distribution efforts through registered representatives in independent broker-dealer, bank, and credit union channels.
- • Day to day, you will develop new business and maintain existing advisor relationships through proactive face-to-face and virtual sales activities, provide current product information and business-building ideas to producing advisers, identify and engage prospective advisers to grow market share, manage daily activities with a Regional Sales Associate and internal sales desk, participate in industry meetings and events, stay current on annuity products and market conditions, assist representatives in building investment knowledge and sales capabilities, conduct client seminars and point-of-sale presentations, manage territory-level marketing and travel budgets, and perform consultative activities such as analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities, gathering data, and recommending solutions to improve advisor effectiveness.

- • In this role, you can achieve year-over-year territory sales growth, strengthen advisor relationships across multiple channels, deepen expertise in annuity and investment solutions within a needs-based sales process, enhance consultative and data-driven decision-making skills, and build leadership experience in territory management, resource allocation, and strategic execution while working with a high degree of independence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must reside within the assigned Texas territory.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
- • 2+ years of investment product wholesaling experience with retail face-to-face sales experience involving similar investment products in an institutional environment.
- • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Examination and Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses required; Life and Variable licenses required or must be obtained within ninety days.
- • Willingness and ability to travel 75-90% of the time across a large geographic territory.
