- • As Regional Vice President for the Atlantic & Great Lakes region, you will drive premium growth and strengthen Protective Life Corporation’s market presence by managing key distributor relationships across 14 states, directly contributing to the company’s mission of protecting millions of lives against life’s uncertainties.
- • Day to day, you will provide external wholesaling support to wire house and independent broker-dealer distributors, manage end-to-end carrier and distributor relationships including sales, marketing, and pending case advocacy, achieve aggressive premium growth targets, conduct substantial overnight travel (minimum 50%), and engage virtually with distributor partners to ensure alignment and performance.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in life insurance wholesaling, advance your strategic account management skills, enhance your ability to navigate complex financial distributor networks, and position yourself for senior leadership opportunities within Protective Life’s growing sales organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- • Superior sales abilities and strong relationship-building capabilities
- • Three to five years of internal or external life insurance wholesaling experience at the carrier level, preferably in a broker dealer or wire house environment
- • Extensive understanding of life insurance products, sales concepts, and case design
- • Sound technical literacy including basic proficiency in illustration software, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and state life and health licenses required
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
