đ Description
- ⢠As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Tello Mobile, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities, directly contributing to their skill development, behavioral progress, and improved quality of life under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work will be grounded in compassion, consistency, and clinical excellence, helping families achieve meaningful outcomes in home-based settings.
- ⢠You will implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by BCBAs, ensuring interventions are tailored to each clientâs unique needs and goals; collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavior to inform treatment adjustments; assist with functional behavior assessments and skill assessments to support comprehensive evaluations; provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy in home environments, building trusting relationships with clients and families; collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including BCBAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists to ensure holistic care; attend regular team meetings and engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your clinical expertise; and maintain strict client confidentiality while adhering to the ethical and professional guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- ⢠Tello Mobile is a mission-driven organization committed to transforming the ABA industry by prioritizing employee well-being, offering competitive compensation, and fostering a supportive, burnout-resistant workplace where team members feel valued and empowered. Unlike industry norms marked by high turnover and inadequate support, Tello Mobile invests in its staff as the foundation of high-quality client care, creating a culture where professional growth and personal fulfillment go hand in hand.
- ⢠You will be part of a collaborative, nurturing team that values continuous learning and mutual support, working alongside experienced BCBAs and allied health professionals who are dedicated to excellence in client outcomes and staff development. This environment encourages mentorship, open communication, and shared accountability, allowing you to grow not only as a technician but as a compassionate advocate for neurodiverse individuals and their families.
- ⢠In this role, you will deepen your expertise in ABA principles and techniques, gain hands-on experience in data-driven intervention implementation, and develop strong interpersonal and observational skills essential for effective behavioral therapy. You will have the opportunity to pursue advanced certifications, such as pursuing BCBA supervision hours or specialized training in areas like verbal behavior or social skills instruction, positioning you for long-term career advancement within the field of applied behavior analysis.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or eligibility for certification is strongly preferred; candidates without certification may be considered if committed to obtaining it promptly.
- ⢠Minimum of 6 months of direct experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities, preferably in ABA therapy, educational, or clinical settings.
- ⢠Valid driverâs license and reliable transportation required to travel to clientsâ homes within the Manning, SC area and surrounding regions.
- ⢠Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history and abuse registry screening, as required by state and BACB regulations.
- ⢠Demonstrated compassion, patience, emotional resilience, and a genuine dedication to improving the lives of clients and supporting their families through consistent, empathetic care.
- ⢠High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; additional coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
đď¸ Benefits
- ⢠Truly caring and nurturing workplace culture that prioritizes employee mental health, work-life balance, and professional satisfaction, actively combating industry-wide burnout through supportive leadership and team cohesion.
- ⢠Competitive hourly pay that exceeds market rates for RBT positions in the region, reflecting Tello Mobileâs commitment to fair compensation as a cornerstone of quality care.
- ⢠Clear pathways for career advancement, including opportunities to gain supervision hours toward BCBA certification, lead technician roles, or specialized training in advanced ABA methodologies.
- ⢠Paid, comprehensive onboarding and ongoing professional development training, including RBT competency assessment support, BACB-aligned workshops, and access to continuing education resources.
