- • The Relationship Manager III - CLO role provides highly complex support to UMB Financial Corporation's largest and most complex clients within the specialty corporate trust team focused on CLO products, managing day-to-day operational and client service activities while monitoring internal controls.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include resolving complex administrative issues, providing support to senior client staff, servicing CLO accounts (billing, fee recommendations, transaction closing, cash/investment transactions, compliance monitoring, debt service calculations, payment generation), setting up accounts for compliance review, responding to compliance exceptions, recommending new business, providing pricing feedback to sales, exploring marketing opportunities and new products, reviewing legal documents, negotiating document provisions with legal and compliance teams, assisting with cash processing for new products, developing and leading CLO-related trainings, acting as a subject matter expert in projects and system testing, leading process improvements, participating in cross-training, and providing indirect management of junior associates.
- • The role operates within UMB Financial Corporation’s specialty corporate trust team, which focuses on CLO products and serves large institutional clients with complex financial needs, emphasizing operational excellence, client relationship management, and process innovation.
- • The individual can develop deep expertise in CLO structures and corporate trust operations, lead process improvement initiatives, enhance leadership and client management skills, gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration with legal, compliance, and sales teams, and contribute to product development and training programs within a stable, established financial institution.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- • 7+ or more years relevant experience in the CLO industry
- • Demonstrates deep understanding of corporate bank loans and experience with CLOs, Interval Funds, ABLs, and Private Debt
