- • As an English-speaking Galápagos Specialist at Galapatours, you will be selling a dream product: exclusive, sustainable cruises aboard small, mostly luxurious yachts around the Galápagos archipelago, helping clients plan their dream trips while advancing the mission of becoming the global reference for sustainable travel to the Galápagos Islands.
- • On a daily basis, you will advise potential clients via email, phone, and video chat, communicate with providers to confirm prices and block spaces, collaborate with the marketing team on trip promotion, and think of ways to improve the client experience before and after a sale.
- • You will report directly to Micaela, our director of booking platforms, and work in a growing international team of exceptional, caring, and passionate individuals dedicated to sustainable tourism and exceptional customer experiences.
- • In this role, you can achieve mastery in consultative sales for high-value travel products, develop expertise in sustainable tourism practices, build strong client and supplier relationships across the Americas, and grow professionally in a supportive, mission-driven environment that values creativity and initiative.
🎯 Requirements
- • A passionate salesperson with at least 2+ years of experience and clear sales results.
- • Ability to work 8-hour shifts aligned to US time zones.
- • Native or near-native English proficiency at C2 level.
- • Team player with exceptional internal and external communication skills and superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers.
- • Passion for fair and sustainable business and tourism.
- • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced startup environment and prioritize effectively, including knowing when to say "no".
