Remote Mortgage Loan Officer (Nevada)

📋 Description

• • Originate and manage purchase-focused mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
• • Convert Zillow-provided purchase leads into funded loans through proactive, timely follow-up and consultative borrower engagement.
• • Build and maintain strong relationships with homebuyers and, where applicable, Zillow Preferred Agents and local real estate partners to drive referral-based loan volume.
• • Manage an active loan pipeline using Zillow’s CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools to monitor pipeline health, customer engagement, and performance metrics.
• • Collaborate closely with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure efficient loan movement and timely funding.
• • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through consistent, high-quality communication via phone, email, and text across the entire loan journey.
• • Stay current on evolving mortgage programs, market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide tailored financing solutions to borrowers.
• • Maintain active NMLS licensing, complete required continuing education, and participate in ongoing professional development to remain compliant and competitive.
• • Operate in either a high-volume, phone-based, lead-driven environment or a consultative, market-focused model with agent referrals, based on individual strengths and team alignment.
• • Collect, store, and use voiceprints (speech recordings) for operational, training, and compliance purposes as required by company policy and regulatory standards.
• • Meet defined service levels, productivity KPIs, and funding targets within a structured, metrics-driven performance environment.
• • Work remotely from a principal place of residence physically located within the state of Nevada; occasional in-office work at company locations is permitted but not required.
• • Utilize Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other digital platforms to manage documentation, communication, and reporting.
• • Demonstrate strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple active loan files simultaneously.
• • Exhibit consultative sales skills, exceptional verbal communication, and the ability to build trust quickly with borrowers from diverse backgrounds.
