- • As a Remote Mortgage Loan Officer at Zillow Home Loans, you will originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing, guiding borrowers from first contact to funding while delivering a best-in-class customer experience within Zillow’s FinTech division.
- • Day to day, you will convert company-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up, manage an active pipeline using Zillow’s CRM and loan origination systems, partner with centralized processing and underwriting teams, and maintain compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
- • You will join a collaborative, high-energy team of innovators at Zillow Group’s FinTech division, working within a purchase-focused mission supported by industry-leading technology, brand strength, and centralized operations, with the flexibility to operate in either a high-volume, lead-driven environment or a consultative, relationship-based model.
- • In this role, you can achieve career growth by mastering data-driven loan origination, building strategic partnerships with Zillow Preferred Agents, enhancing your consultative sales and pipeline management skills, and contributing to Zillow’s mission of reshaping the home financing experience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions
- • Active NMLS Loan Originator license or equivalent federal bank licensing, including completion of 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test
- • Physically located and working remotely from North Carolina
- • Proven success originating purchase loans in either a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model
- • Proficiency with CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
